🌱 Something Is Growing

There’s a quiet shift happening.
Not loud. Not flashy. But real.
Something is growing.
And if you look closely—down at the soil, across the fields, in the compost piles, in the hands of people willing to build something from the ground up—you can feel it.
At TRACK, we’ve always believed that resilience starts at the root level. In the soil. In the systems we build. In the way communities reconnect with the land and with each other.
Now, that belief is taking a new form.
Introducing Horsepower Soil

Together with Matt, we’ve started something new: Horsepower Soil.
This isn’t just a business. It’s a continuation of the mission.
Horsepower Soil is about building life from the ground up—literally.
We’re taking what most people throw away—yard waste, organic material, overlooked resources—and turning it into something powerful:
Living soil
Biochar-enriched systems
Regenerative inputs that restore land instead of depleting it
Because soil isn’t dirt.
It’s a living system. And when you rebuild it, you rebuild everything that depends on it.
Why “Horsepower”?
Because this is work.
Real work.
The kind that requires:
Energy
Grit
Movement
People willing to get their hands dirty
But it’s also about power in the right direction—not extractive, but regenerative.
Not taking from the land…but giving back to it.
Where This Is Going
This is just the beginning.
Horsepower Soil will connect directly with everything we’re building through TRACK:
Neighborhood compost systems
Youth workforce development
Local business creation
Land restoration across Appalachia
We’re not just creating a product.
We’re creating a system—one that can scale, teach, and sustain.
Something Bigger
If you’ve been following along, you know this has always been about more than one idea.
It’s about rebuilding:
Communities
Opportunity
Connection to land
A sense of purpose
Horsepower Soil is one piece of that.
But it’s an important one.
Because everything starts with the ground beneath our feet.
Something is growing.
And we’re just getting started.
